Biography: 

Dr. Aminath Jameel is Minister of Health of the Republic of the Maldives.  She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, La Trobe University, Victoria, Australia, and baccalaureate and masters degrees in nursing from the University of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
